Wi, Front or rear brake
Wi,
Front or rear brake line?
Do you use the Neon to launch a boat into salt water?
Do you live in an area near an ocean where the air quality is high in salt?
Has the Neon been sitting for a long period of time without being driven?
I’m asking these questions because brake fluid is Hydrostatic. Undoubtedly this is gonna be a new word for your vocabulary, so I strongly recommend that you use the web to find a definition. It’s not as simple as replacing the rusted line. You first have to ask yourself why and how the line rusted in the first place ? Just so know under normal everyday driving conditions brake lines are not designed to rust. If they were then there would be millions of dead people on the roads and highways. Answer the above questions. We’ll help you find and resolve the cause of the rusted line in the first place and resolve it. If you don’t find and resolve the reason the line rusted in the first place, then the new line you install is only going to rust out as well. The answer to you question is simple. Don’t waste your time or money with:
WD-40
PB Blaster
Penetrating Oil
The product shown in the link below is the finest product you can buy for freeing up rusted/seized parts. Just spray it on and wait 10 minutes.
