can you repair the side pan of the transmission of a 2000 dodge grand caravan it is leaking transmission fluid and I was told it was relatively easy to repair it has a crack in it

Replace the pan and put gasket silicon on it because Chrysler does not use gaskets on that pan.

repair is pretty simple.
repair is pretty simple. allow time for the sealer to cure before filling with fluid and driving--doesn't take too long, but if you can wait overnight that would be ideal, if not 30 mins or so is OK.
