Changed water pump and timing belt on 2002 Chrysler Voyager. How do I know if crankshaft is hitting pistons?

actually it would be the valves hitting the pistons and believe my if that happens you'll know. what engine is in your voyager?

only the 2.0 liter is a interferance engin. check the compression, if out on 2 cylinders, bent valves. let us know.
