directly in front of the crankshaft pully and has a black wire attached to it. do you have a code that indicates that sensor is bad?

Why are you askin where the crank sensor is?
Is the Lumina gettin no spark and not startin?
A yes answer to not startin doesn't add up to a failed crank sensor. There are basics and fundamentals that have to be ruled in or ruled out here first. Does my terminology confuse you?
Do you know what basics mean?
Do you know how to check the basics?
Do you know what rule out and rule in means?
Don't be embarrassed to say you don't know, because not knowing is why we are here. Don't buy or replace any parts yet, because all you're gonna be doin is thowin parts at the problem in an effort to fix it, and in the long run that's gonna prove to be waste of time and money. Right now just tell us exactly what the problem is, and if any error codes are set?
