i'm looking on chrysler's service info site and not seeing and torsion bar options for 03 dakota, in any of the 3 engins?
Ok I think I figured out the
Ok I think I figured out the mail problem. The 03 is 4WD, Sport, club cab, 4.7, 5 SPD man., the torsion bars are not to be replaced, my bad, But the truck has them. I should have asked about the torsion "keys" or anchor. I am wanting to raise the front up w/ new anchors. However i was told after doing this to check the suspension height on level ground not on the jack. I had a answer on another site but the specs. were for a 95. They measured from the ground to upper "a" arm and another place behind the steering knuckle I think.? I hope this helps. was not ignoring you just was not getting answer in my e-mail it went to spam. Anyway I will be looking for your reply, THANKS CBM

no some times it seem that info gets lost in the site some were. save the posted page to your faves. remember you should have it lined up after height adjustment. mws919
So for the height adjustment
So for the height adjustment is there a special way to tell how to check the proper height. As in a measurement and what do I measure? The instructions I have Say, Install- 1)insert torsion bar ends into anchor & suspension arm. - 2) Position anchor & bearing in frame cross member. Install adjustment bolt through bearing, anchor & into swivel. - 3) Turn adjustment bolt clockwise the recorded amount of turns(the turns you counted taking the bolt out) - 4) Lower vehicle & adjust the front suspension height. That is what I don't understand, adjust front suspension height. How do you do that? Thanks CBM
