slow down, you are spending
slow down, you are spending too much money. the booster could never cause the pedal to go to the floor, it has a metal rod that connect the pedal to the master. if the pedal is going to the floor, that means you are not getting any hydraulic pressure. was the master bench bled befor being installed, were all 4 wheels bled until there was no air comming out and was it good volume comming out? did you clamp off any brake hoses to see if the pedal got hard agin. what was the problem in the frist place? letus know.
Yes bench pressed two master
Yes bench pressed two master cylinders after the second one now the pedal doesnt go to the floor but still car doesnt stop unless u press hard down on it!! Now is their a specific hydraulic valve that needs to be bleed as well?? Their was a valve looked on the engine wall?? Yes all four wheels were bleed an left front is the only now that doesnt have anything coming out? No i didnt clamp off brake hoses but will!! Let just say person whom brought me their car whom i advised not to put cheap pads aint the pads an rotors up!! Then they said someone told them that his master cylinder needed to be replaced i shouldnt of messed with it to begin with!! Being cheap now hes spending alot!!
does it have abs? in 95 it
does it have abs? in 95 it was an option back then. if there is nothing comming out of the left front, that means there is air in it. even a 1/2 cc of air in the system, you will have a problem. see if you can loosen up the line nut that connects to the rubber hose comming from L/F caliper. be careful not to twist/brake the line. with it loose fill the master and pump the pedtal 1/2 a doz. times. if you get fluid spraying out, the hose it plugged. if you are getting good fluid from 3 out of 4 wheels, the other little block like valve in the system is a valve that will shut off the front or rear brakes if a pressure loss,"line leak ect.."happens. in turn one 1/2 of the brakes will still work after the pedal is pumpped once after going to the floor because of the pressure loss. it is called a few diff. names" combi valve, center valve,ect.." not your problem thou, because you have 3 out of 4. let me know if abs
Yes it does ABS!! After
Yes it does ABS!! After Replacing ABS MODULE UNIT THATS WHEN I GOT PRESSURES BACK AN PEDAL DOESNT HIT THE FLOOR ANY LONGER BUT CAR STILL DOESNT STOP AS IT SHOULD!! HAVE TO HIT PEDAL HARD AN YET STILL CAR MOVES!! I WILL DO WHAT YOU SUGGESTED TODAY IF IT DOESNT RAIN!! THE VALVE YOUR REFERRING TO WHERE IS IT LOCATED??
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP MUCH APPRECIATED
OZZ
if you replaced the abs mod.
if you replaced the abs mod. it may have to be calibrated, this centers the valves in it. try disconnecting the neg. batt. term. for a second, it may cause the mod. to to reset. then rebleed the brakes.
Ok shall try today being
Ok shall try today being weekend it was raining an shall let you know if that worked!!
Thank You
