asd relay problem
crank sensor problem
pickup plate problem
pickup coil or ignition module problem
cam sensor problem
Are you sure you have good fuel pressure and injector pulse? If your injectors pulse then you don’t have asd relay, cam or crank sensor problems.
it will still start with a
it will still start with a bad crank sensor, it would just crank for a while befor starting.
uses the cam sensor as a redundan.
Old school. Dodge used a
Old school. Dodge used a resistor in their run circuit(ballast it was called). Wonder if there is still a similar setup? But you'd have spark in start and no power to coil in run. Just saying.
Right Dan. I used to carry
Right Dan. I used to carry spare's of those resistors with me in case of emergencies.
chekc coil lead from
chekc coil lead from crankshaft/camshaft sensors. use a voltmeter set on the 2v AC scale. connect voltmeter lead to coil leads which come from the crank/cam sensors. spin the engine and observe the voltmeter reading. Generally, it should read around .8 to 2v it sensors are working. (by the way, it's highly unlikely that both sensors will go out at the same time)
It's the crank sensor mine
It's the crank sensor mine done the same think.
