How do I change the fuel pressure regulator on a 2001 GMC Somoma 4.3 L engine

regulator is mounted on the

regulator is mounted on the fuel rail / passenger side. remove air intake resonater - clean dirt from around regulator and fuel lines - disconnect neg battery cable - disconnect fuel and vacuum line -disconnect retaining clip - remove regulator - install a new back-up 2 back-up o ring seals - install new regulator clip in reverse order. go to autozone.com - register - add vehicle and go to repair section for step by step with pics.

On my engine, the regulator

On my engine, the regulator is on the spider inside the manifold. Is it accessable thru the opening in the top of the manifold after the throttle body is removed?

Can't get to the regulator

Can't get to the regulator through the opening for the throttle body. If it is on the spider, you will have to remove the (plastic) top part of the intake manifold (upper intake)to get to it.
