How do I get the rear brakes to adjust on a 1996 geo metro so that I can get the drum off to replace the wheel bearing? I can't seem to find an adjuster screw like in an american made car

on the back side if the wheel

on the back side if the wheel assemby in a litt flat rubber plug - remove that plug and look inside for a notched wheel - use a flat screw driver and spin the wheel upward to loosen the shoes. you may have to tap on the drum a little to get them to squeeze in.
