i think the question is, how do i remove the transmission?. are you ready to do that? let us know
No the question was how do i
No the question was how do i remove the torque converter i guess i could have said from the flywheel but i figured anyone that could answer the question would already know that. but to answer your question yes i was ready to do that infact i was so ready i removed it today without instruction n got the torque converter placed onto the new engine n the tranny put on as well and am finished with all of that the engine is droped in and everything.
it has bolts on the starter
it has bolts on the starter ring and you have to spein the ring a little at a time to get them off.

DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
REMOVE AIR FLOW METER
DISCONNECT THE THREE CONNECTORS
DISCONNECT SPEEDOMETER CABLE
DISCONNECT THROTTLE CABLE FROM THROTTLE LINKAGE AND BRACKET
DISCONNECT GROUND STRAP
REMOVE STARTER MOTOR SET BOLTS
REMOVE THE TWO TRANSMISSION HOUSING SET BOLTS
REMOVE ENGINE REAR MOUNT INSULATOR BRACKET SET BOLT
RAISE VEHICLE AND DRAIN TRANSAXLE
REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVERS
REMOVE SUSPENSION LOWER CROSSMEMBER
DISCONNECT FRONT AND REAR MOUNTING
Remove the two dust covers from the center member.
Remove the four bolts
REMOVE ENGINE MOUNTING CENTER MEMBER
Disconnect the two clamps.
Remove the four bolts and engine mounting center member.
REMOVE LH DRIVE SHAFT
DISCONNECT RH DRIVE SHAFT
DISCONNECT EXHAUST PIPE FROM MANIFOLD
REMOVE STIFFENER PLATE
DISCONNECT CONTROL CABLE
Remove the clip.
Remove the retainer.
Disconnect the control cable from the bracket and remove the control cable bracket.
DISCONNECT OIL COOLER HOSES
REMOVE ENGINE REAR END PLATE
REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTER MOUNTING BOLTS
Turn the crankshaft to gain access to each bolt.
Hold the crankshaft pulley nut with a wrench, remove the six bolts.
REMOVE ENGINE REAR MOUNTING SET BOLTS
Hold the engine and transaxle with two jacks, or a chain block and jack.
Remove the two engine rear mounting set bolts.
REMOVE TRANSAXLE MOUNTING BOLTS
REMOVE TORQUE CONVERTER FROM TRANSAXLE
