Follow the driver's side
Follow the driver's side radiator hose to the engine. The housing that the radiator hose connects to houses the thermostat.(this hose is actually the bottom radiator hose)
To replace the thermostat:
1. drain the coolant
2. disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. remove the air intake duct.
4. disconnect the radiator hose.
5. remove the thermostat housing (two bolts).
6. remove the thermostat. Clean all sealing surfaces.
Reverse these steps to install the thermostat.
