How do you replace the front oxygen sensor on a 1996 toyota corolla DX?

The oxygen sensor aka O2

The oxygen sensor aka O2 sensor should be located on your exhaust around a Y connection or on the exhaust manifold itself, its just like a standard screw on object, lefty loosey/ righty tighty. Most of these dont get replaced until their a decade or more old so they can give you a fight getting them out. I'd start by soaking it in WD40 or any rust remover and then try vice grips. A pal of mine made a tool very similar to an oil filter remover using a wrench and a chain and it works very well, point is you have to put a bit of force into removing these, it helps to remove the wires to take it off so that their not in the way. Hope this helps.
