I am trying to locate the fuel filter on a 1988 ford mustang. I assume it is somewhere near the gas tank

Im not compleatly sure but ford likes to put alot of their fuel filters on the fire wall so it may be there. Hope i was helpfull.

go to part store and buy the filter - their filter book telss the location of the part and also fram.com has a web site to get part by year, make, model and engine and then another area to locat where its installed.
