I drive a 2001 chevy camero v6 and im having some minor transmission problems. Its an automatic but when shifting out of first gear it doesnt shift. instead it just keeps reving and i have to time it and let off the gas, and tap it in. any help?

have you checked the fluid
have you checked the fluid level? it may be irrelevant but i had a 94 v6 with a 4l60e trans mission with the same problem and it happened to be the fluid level. hope this helps
