I have a 00 Ford Ranger. My truck has been leaking coolant so I replaced the thermostat and gasket. When I filled my radiator back up everything I poured into it leaked out underneath the engine where the thermostat is. Could it be a bad intake gasket?

Really could be any number of things man. Basics have to to be confirmed here guy before you go lookin for a bigger problem. Off the top of my head I'd freeze out plug, but I'm the type of master who never ever guesses with another guys vehicle or money. Just the wrong thing to do and not fair. First basic is you gotta use a cooling system pressure tester to try to pinpoint the leak. Auto Zone has a free loaner tool service where you can borrow a tester for free. Get one, use it, and post the results. From there we'll tell you what to do. Even with a tester findin a cooling system leak can be tricky and difficult. There are tricks to usin a coolin system pressure tester. Let us know if you're not familiar with the tricks.
