i have a 09 chevy malibu and while putting in a new stereo a hot wire touched the stereo and now i have no power at all but battery is good


checkc your radio fuse. It's

checkc your radio fuse. It's in the fuse box inside the vehcile. Also, check the power distribution center underhood in case there is a related fuse there (most likely there isn't...but check anyway).

Let me know if that was the problem.

Do you have no power at all, meaning the accessories, lights, etc etc are not working, and all voltage is lost at the interior and exterior?

Are you saying that you have no power "JUST TO THE RADIO"?

Does the car start?

Have you ruled out one or more blown "Fusible Links?"
