I have a 1987 Dodge RamCharger w/a 318V8. Is there a small motor that runs windshield wipers? My wipers won't work but the fluid for them will. Doesnt blow fuse right away. short of a wirebreak somewhere just curious about the motor.

it's under hood, bottom of windshield, center.

Disconnect battery ground cable.
Disconnect wiper motor electrical connectors, then remove motor attaching screws.
Lower motor down far enough to gain access to crank arm to drive link retainer bushing.
Remove crank arm from drive link by prying retainer bushing from crank arm pin using a suitable screwdriver.
Remove motor from vehicle.

The motor may build up

The motor may build up resistance as it runs and blows fuses. test the connections and if everything check out right and you still have problems, try a used or new motor.
