I have a 1987 Ford Thunderbird. The windshield wipers are not working.

First check the fuse and/or

First check the fuse and/or relays associated with windshield wipers.
If good, unplug the wiper motor's electrical plug, use a test light to check for power to the wiper motor when the wiper switch is turned on. If power is present, check for a good ground.
If there is good power when the switch is on and a good ground, but motor still doesn't work, replace the motor.

The relay is a 6 Amp Circuit

The relay is a 6 Amp Circuit Breaker.

Thanks

The easiest way to check a

The easiest way to check a circuit breaker is to bypass it with a jumper wire. Your jumper wire should have a replaceable inline fuse to protect the circuit against damage. Use a fuse of no greater capacity than what the circuit itself uses. If you do not know, use a 5- or 10-amp fuse to be safe. If the circuit works when you bypass the circuit breaker, you have isolated the problem. Replace the circuit breaker.

I have replaced the wiper

I have replaced the wiper motor and wiper switch.

Now the wipers come on SOMETIMES. Not all the time.

When I turn off the wipers the wiper blades stop anywhere and don't go all the way down.

What could be the problem?
