I have a 1995 Cadillac DeVille that is leaking power steering fluid. The oil appears on the ground on the Left Front of the car. How difficult is it to replace the power steering line?

you'll need to get it up

you'll need to get it up enogh to get under it and see just what is leaking.
it could be either line or the steering rack itself.

left front just in front of the firewall?

(remember that the left side of a vehicle is the drivers side----I know that you already know that, but it's best to be sure).

reason I brought this up is because the power steering pump in on the passenges' (right) side.
However, it could be a steering rack leak---which goes from the left to the right side of the vehcile.

save you money on the dye.

save you money on the dye. just wipe the area clean, start the engine, turn the wheels left and right a few time and then get underneath the vehicle and see where its' leaking.

Steam cleaning the engine is another approach. Makes the leak stand out and more visible.
