I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado truck, the battery is new and the engine pulls the battery down. I have had the alternator tested and it's not that. What could it be? I need to do a batt. draw test. how do you do that?.

remove neg battery cable -

remove neg battery cable - attach test lite between battery and cable - pull 1 fuse at a time - when lite goes out on pulled fuse, thats your short.
