I have a 2003 Forester X. When I try to use the rear windshield washer, the fluid dribbles down one side of the windshield and drips off the brake light cover inside the hatch.


sounds like the spray nozzel

sounds like the spray nozzel is plugged up.
there's a bulletin for the front sprayers, says to remove nozzle and blow out with conpressed air.

The front seems to work fine.

The front seems to work fine. How would I get to the hoses that work at the back? I tried taking the plate off the brake light at the top of the hatch, but it looked like I'd need to remove the brake light assembly to get to the screws behind it to remove the whole unit, if that's the right way to go.

ok, it looks like you've got

ok, it looks like you've got to remove the rear gate inner door panel, then the nozzle has 2 squeeze tabs on it that push in to remove it.
i can send some pics and info on removing panel and nozzle to a email ad. if you like, pics donn't post here.
