I have cylinder not firing, it's a Porsche 924 1978

check compression. if plug is

check compression. if plug is good check distributor on all wires

You can isolate the misfiring

You can isolate the misfiring cylinder by using insulated pliers (pliers with rubber cover on handles) or special spark plug wire pullers to remove one wire at a time while the engine is running. There should be a noticable decrease in engine speed each time a plug wire is removed. Put the wire back on the plug before going to the next one. If you should remove a wire and the engine speed does not decrease, then that's the cyliinder which is misfiring.
Once located, check the spark plug, wire, and compression on that cylinder. Post your results if you need more advice.
