Bosch alternator for a 2000 Hyundai Elantra, Not certain it's the correct one. No pulley (am I supposed to use the one from the existing alternator?). No Plastic unit on back. Screw hole not threaded. How to tell if it's correct alternator?

take the old one with you and

take the old one with you and have them match it up at the parts store. where did you get the bosch? most parts stores will change the pulley for you.

most aftermarket units will

most aftermarket units will have some slight diffences. I agree with the first post, make sure that the bolt holes and wire connector plug-ins are the same. Have the parts store to change and inspect that pulley for you (it'll save some aggrevation).

If there is a question as to if the alternator is the correct one, have the parts store to cross-reference the original alternator part number with the bosch part number to see if they are compatible.
