If I hit bumps while in a curve in my 07 GMC Sierra, the rear end feels like it almost steps out of line. Is this worn sway bar bushings?

(Cont'd) Also the truck doesn't soak up bumps well at all. The truck is a 1/2 ton the suspension doesn't feel still like a 3/4 ton it just doesn't dampen the bumps much. I bought it used about 6 months ago and the prev owner put new shocks on about 2 months before. I just want to know where the best place to start is. Should I change out all the bushings and if that doesn't solve the problem change the springs?

the springs wouldnt be the issue unless its been lifted or dropped. check the shocks and make sure they are the correct application for your truck

although the vehicle isn't very old, check trailing arm bushings and bolts (make sure that the bolts are tight).
