I'm trying to trace a coolant leak on my daughter's '99 Nissan Maxima. It's not coming from radiator or hoses, but I can't locate the water pump. Does it have an internally driven water pump, or am I crazy?

check all hoses inch by inch

check all hoses inch by inch - check water pump bearing area - do you have fluid on the ground? the oil is not milky or oil in coolant?

the water pump is located

the water pump is located behind small cover on front of engine its ran by the timing chain and they can be a !@#$%%%$#@@@^^^ to replace, if its leaking i would have system pressure tested or dye tested im lookn at repair info and i have changed a few of these 1 didnt go so well but we can get into that later lets find your problem first
