my 2001 ford windstar has a leak under the transmission what could it be?


If it's red(ish) then it's

If it's red(ish) then it's transmission fluid (assuming that your transmission uses automatic transmission fluid--some manual transmissions use it also).
check the transmission pan bolts for tightness(if applicable).

If fluid is brown,that's engine oil.
Clear fluid is either brake fluid (check brake fluid level) or power steering fluid (check level)

Green (water) is antifreeze. Although antifreeze can be green, redish, blue, and other colors.

If it's leaking from the pan,
