power windows stop working

ford 2002 explorer power windowns stop working after spraying WD-40 on window switch

Mike, You started two posts.

Mike,

You started two posts. This is gonna lead to confusion that's gonna delay you're repair. Pick one post and let's stay with that one. Did the light problem you're talkin about in your first post, start after you sprayed the WD-40 into the window switch?

Why did you spray the switch?
Were you trying to clean it?
Have you ever heard of electric contact cleaner?

Just so you know WD-40 is NOT a conductor of voltage, and WILL short out ANY circuit it touches. For cleanin electrical circuits here's a helpul link.
