Ibrahom, The air bag light

The air bag light usually indicates that the computer has seen a problem, set a trouble code and deactivated the system. Turning the light off will not repair anything and will most likely only turn the light out temporarily at best.
I would personally prefer using a scan tool to retrieve diagnostic trouble codes but you should be able to do it without a scan tool on your vehicle. Each code has a dedicated flow chart to diagnose the problem. This link should help you retrieve the codes.

Ibrahom,
You just don't simply turn off the air bag light like that. There's a fault in the system and that's why the light came on in the first place. Find the fault and fix it otherwise you run the risk of the bag going of in your face or a passengers face while you're driving. The first step in finding and fixing the fault is to have the (AIR BAG MODULE) scanned for error codes. Post any codes that are present so we can see them. Also recently has any work been done on or around the steering column?
