This is a "Free" Repair.
Make Sure you pay "Nothing".

MANUFACTURER: DaimlerChrysler Corporation
NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 04V480000 Recall Date : OCT 05, 2004
COMPONENT: Air Bags
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 955344
SUMMARY:
On certain minivans, the driver's air bag may become disabled due to a failure of the clockspring, which is located in the hub of the steering wheel.

This condition will manifest itself through illumination of the air bag warning lamp, and could eventually result in a driver's air bag open circuit, if the part is not replaced in a reasonable amount of time.
REMEDY:
Dealers will replace the clockspring assembly on all covered vehicles with 70,000 miles or less. FOR THOSE VEHICLES WITH MORE THAN 70,000 MILES, DaimlerChrysler will offer an extended lifetime warranty under which it will replace the clockspring at no charge if it fails. DaimlerChrysler will also reimburse owners who have paid to have the clockspring replaced on their vehicles. The recall began on October 12, 2004. Owners should contact DaimlerChrysler at 1-800-853-1403.

there may also be one on the front impac sensors.
Can't remember for sure Mike.
Can't remember for sure Mike. Think the "Front Impact "Sensor" recall was for "93-98", and then again "Maybe" in "05'.

Be careful buddy,
We're talking "RECALL" here.
In other words, "Free To The Customer."
NOT A TSB!
Don't be "GIVING OUT" free "Impact Sensors" to vehicles that "Are Not Part Of The Recall."
Could get the "Boss" (AND SUITS) mad.
Just my two cents "To Help A Brother".
chrysler only sends out the
chrysler only sends out the noitces by the vin number, so if they come in with the notics it's in the recall.
chrysler's pretty good about that, when i frist started to work for them, i'd check, but it turned out i was wasting time.
and with chrysler's warrenty times, you cann't afford to waste i second. lol
UNDERSTOOD! Kind of figured
UNDERSTOOD!
Kind of figured something like that. Just wanted to "BE SURE" you weren't "HANDING" out impact sensors "JUST LIKE THAT"!
NOW:
Those "WONDERFULL MOPAR EGR VALVES",
WELL:
You can give them out for "FREE", because their only worth "A NICKEL" (If That Much).
BTW:
"Belt fed 60" is my "Weapon of choice" as well. (GREAT FOR FUN AND GAMES IN THE RICE FIELDS)
IF UP TO ME?
I'd "Walk" down the "Street" with one.
OOH-RAH
i would have someone check
i would have someone check the air bag that is a professional replacing are bags are not cheap. You could also consider calling the dealer.
i carried one and at 5'6" and
i carried one and at 5'6" and not quite 120lbs, it was like carring my best friend, could change out a red barrel in 5 seconds.
learned early that carring it got me a lot of respect from the rest of the squad.
i say a prayer for those guys trying to supress with 5.56 over there now, but on the other hand, every body is a ammo bearer.
