The stick snapped off where it links to the transmission. It a 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive Chevy Scottsdale. How the heck do you fix it? Do you have to tear into the tranny?

you will have take the top of the tranny off and replace it. i would look in a wrecking yard but that takes time so you may have to order a new part.
