To replace an oil pump on 1993 F150, do I need to remove the transmission cross member support?

go to autozone.com - register - add vehicle and go to remove oil pan / change pump - if you can get the pan off without removing the cross member, do it. good luck

On some engines you'll have to remove so much stuff that you may as well pull the engine.
