95 Camaro

I have a 95 camaro with a 3.4 liter and have put a new camshaft, lifter, timing chain and gears in it. I set the timing marks before I took off timing chain, gears, and camshaft so the crankshaft would be where it needs to be so I would only have to line the camshaft gear but when I lined it all up and put it back together it would not run and it sounds funny when I turn the starter. Any suggestions?

Since this is an online auto repair forum, and we don't have your Camaro in front of us, it's impossible to say what went wrong. I'm posting a helpful link for you below. You should start with the first one (Camshaft lifters and bearings), and then work your way down.
