When removing the 3.0 liter V-6 engine from a 95 Toyota 4 Runner 4 WD, do I have to unbolt the torque converter from the flex plate, or will it slide off the transmission, and come out with the motor, when I pull the motor forward.

i would remove bolts to flex plate - it has an access plate so you can get them loose.
