it's part of the latch in side door. do you need help getting to it?
i think i do i know how to remove the interior door panel , but im not seeing anything that looks like a swithch. The trouble im having is that the interior lights dont come on when the door is opened. They door work if i turn them on with the switch in the dash so i figure it must be the door pin. I would be grateful for any help or leads in traking this one down.
ya, sounds like latch. the 3 bolts on the door jam where the stricker goes into the door hold on the latch. it will have 3 linkage rods and a eletrical connector you will have to remove to get it out. the bolts are trox type so you might have to buy a socket bit that fits it, a t45. you may have to run the glass up and down to get it out. check it out and let me know. mws919
