is the fluid discolored and
is the fluid discolored and burnt order?

no but leaks
no but leaks
If the fluid is leaking then
If the fluid is leaking then the transmission could need to be re-sealed. First make sure the leak is not due to a pan gasket issue. AS ASE asked, does "D-4" flash or blink on and off? Also is the "D-4" light off altogether.? Also are there any "Transmission" error codes?
where is the leak coming
where is the leak coming from?
Maybe you can have it put on a lift to help locate the leak. (may be as simple as a loose bolt(s)).
Is the trans full of fluid?
