Ramon, A little water out of
Ramon,
A little water out of the exhaust is normal but a large amount could be indicative of intake/gasket or head/gasket problems.
What year, make, model and engine size?
Post back here with more info or questions. We'll be glad to help. Thanks.

Ramon,
Are there any other symptoms?
How does the vehicle run?
Is there water in the oil? If so it would normally be a milky brown color.
You might want to get a sample of your coolant and have a radiator shop test it for hydrocarbons or buy a block tester at a parts store and test it yourself.
Let us know what you find. Thanks.

Ramon, It sounds like it
Ramon,
It sounds like it might be a head/head gasket problem. Perform a compression test and have your cooling system checked for the presence of hydrocarbons as I mentioned above. A shade tree test would be to pressure test the cooling system with the spark plugs out. Let it sit with pressure on it for atleast a couple of hours. With the spark plugs still out, try and start the engine and if coolant sprays out check to see which cylinder(s) it comes from.
Let us know if you have any other questions. Good luck. Thanks.
Ramon, In addition to what's
Ramon,
In addition to what's been posted already. You said your van is missing alot and the muffler is getting hot. Well, are you sure it's the muffler and not the catalytic converter that's getting hot?
Has the MIL (check engine light) been on for a while and have you just ignored it and continued to drive the van anyway?
A yes answer to the above means (or could mean) that the catalytic converter has failed, or is about to fail. Due the below today.
Stop driving the van.
Determine if you're talking about the muffler or catalytic converter, and let us know which.
Scan the PCM (computer) for error codes.
Post any codes so we can see them.
