i have a96 honda civic, lately i have noticed it starting to get loud when you drive, the higher the speed the louder it gets, it seems to becoming from the front end.

Open the hood and start the engine. Try to see if the sound is coming form the exhaust manifold area. Maybe the header gasket (gasket between the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe) has burned out.
