Hi everyone. I have a question that pertains to fuel, since gas is so expensive can I use regular unleaded and still keep engine running good and clean? I use mid on both vehicles just to keep engines clean. 85 Silverado and 2008 Yukon XL

your owners manual has

your owners manual has recommended fuel section. if it doesn't have spark knock or loose power regular should be fine. i use it in my trailblazer and grand prix, no problem.

newer cars will burn any gas

newer cars will burn any gas cleanly and with no power loss.

What about adding a fuel

What about adding a fuel treatment every other fill up. Because I had a 305 on my old truck and all i ever used was mid grade and when I pulled it apart and opened it up, it was so clean inside ofcourse not spotless but enough to where i was REAL surprised. Also thanks for your input gentelman.

Texas, (ALL) pour in the fuel

Texas,

(ALL) pour in the fuel tank additives are "BS" and a waste of money !!!!

ONLY THREE THINGS TO REMEMBER !!!!

Use a good quality "Top Tier" fuel

Fill up at the half way mark (NEVER GO BELOW HALF)

Drive at 60 mph (AT LEAST) three times a week for (AT LEAST) 40 minutes.
