I have a 1984 BMW 730i that runs great but sometimes it just sputters out and dies like it's out of gas. Sometimes it will start right back up but when it does you cant give it any gas if you leave it alone overnight will run untill? Where do i start????

sounds like fuel pump problem, have the fuel pressure checked.
