My ? is that i own a 1970 CHEVY IMPALA my vehicle stalls when i drive about 2-miles then it sarts and it seems alright ,and it starts up and does the same all over again.I let the carb soak in gas and put a carb kit in. A 350 small block 2-bl.

does it sputter and die or
does it sputter and die or just shuts off?
at that age someone could
at that age someone could have used silicon, it may have broke loose and now blocks fuel passage,had a 74 4 door this happened to, maybe i was sabotaged?. since it was a beater i ran a line to a 5 gal. tank and drove it, never did take that lil tank out..figured that with out the heavy gas tank, and since the back brake line rusted away, break torque burnouts were a blast.. not recommended though. but fun to remember..
