2006 dodge hemi SLT 4WDR . When coming to a stop . the idle fluctuates then engine dies or stalls . Oil light comes on . Restart without any trouble . Does not happen all the time . Can someone tell what it could be ? Checked fuel press & for vac leaks .

f possible and it doesn't cost a lot, have the TPS voltages checked when the vehicle is being driven and when the throttle is suddenly released (like when coming to a stop). It may show signs of a problems.
You can check for gum build-up at the throttle plates which could cause problems as well. Simply remove the air snorkle/air cleaner to access the throttle plates. have an assistant to turn the ign switch on (engine off) and push the gas pedal to the floor so that you can see if there is a gum build-up in the throttle area. Can be cleaned with carb cleaner that doesn't contain MET(??).
