91 buick park avenue power seat probllem
hows do I remove power seat drivers side on 91 buick park avenue. Seat wont move forward but psgr side works just fine. thinking I can maybe swap out the motors.

check fuse - do you hear motor on seat when activated? remove trim on floor and that will expose the bolts to remove the seat.

First of all you’re making a classically typical and pathetic mistake. Right now you are putting the cart before the horse. Classically typical and pathetic mistake means that you are making an assumption. In your mind you have concluded that just because the driver’s side seat is not working that the problem must be a failed motor.
WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG !!!!!!
Have you checked the seat track for coins and debris that could be stopping the seat from moving?
Have you made sure the motor is receiving a circuit? In other words voltage and ground?
Have you made sure there aren't any blown fuses, master fuses, circuit breakers or fusible links?
Finally the motors are (HANDED) so that makes them impossible to interchange.
