be carful when pulling trim off the snaps can be hard to unsnap and plasitc will crack, use a plastic knife to help pry snaps apart.

Insulator Replacement - IP (Left)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
TOOLS REQUIRED
J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover
Use the J 38778 in order remove the LH Instrument Panel (IP ) insulator retainers from the steering column opening filler panel.
Disconnect the courtesy lamp from the instrument panel insulator by turning 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Remove the LH IP insulator from the stud at the accelerator pedal.
Remove the LH IP insulator.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Position the LH Instrument Panel (IP) insulator to the IP.
Install the courtesy lamp to the instrument panel insulator then rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to secure.
Install the LH IP insulator to the stud at the accelerator pedal.
Install the LH IP insulator retainers to the steering column opening filler panel.
Instrument Panel (I/P) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Remove the left instrument panel insulator.
Remove the steering column opening filler.
Remove the screws from the bottom of the Instrument Panel (IP ) accessory trim plate.
Pull the IP accessory trim plate rearward in order to release the retaining clips.
Rotate the IP accessory trim plate rearward and up in to release the 2 tabs at the top edge.
Disconnect the ashtray harness electrical connector from the IP harness.
Remove the IP accessory trim plate from the instrument panel.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Connect the ashtray harness electrical connector to the IP harness.
Align the Instrument Panel (IP) accessory trim plate to the IP.
Install the tabs into the IP retainers.
Rotate the IP accessory trim plate forward and press clips into the retainers until fully seated.
Install the IP accessory trim plate retaining screws. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices. Tighten Tighten the IP accessory trim plate screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in) .
Install the steering column opening filler.
Install the left IP insulator.
