Is there a good auto repair manual for the 1999 Subaru Forester? I can find them for the following year, but no 99.

Invest in a "Shop Manual".
Invest in a "Shop Manual". You can buy one from a "Dealer".
OR
You can go with an "On-Line" Service. If you choose the online route go with "Mitchell on Demand".
"AllData" (IS A JOKE)
I'm looking for a ggod
I'm looking for a ggod reference on basic stuff like changing the oil to more specific things like how to fix the rear windshield sprayer. I just got one and have never had other than a GM car, so everything it looks very unfamiliar and I want to know what I can take care of myself.
did you check out that
did you check out that link?
i found it by following the manuals listed here on this site, check it out.
and i've got to give ase master a rebuttal, i've used mitchel and alldata disk and online, and i've got to say alldata is the most conclusive and up to data info on the market, i've never seen mitchel in any dealership or large shops, all seem to have alldata.
it's the only aftermarket repair info that you can go from it to the factory manuel and have the same word for word info., it costs a bit more but i pay it because it's worth it.
this site had it as a sponcer all the way until a few mo. ago.
sorry sir, hate to bump rank, but i like it better than the rest.
i go there befor i use our factory si sites.
but then agin, i'd like the belt fed 60 over the 5.56 smg we use now, old dogs and new tricks i guess.
getting back to the question at hand, a owners manual will give most of the info you are looking for, and any other big questions you might have, we can allways get you a answer to.
